Poster/Print Ad

This is my 4th Assignment 

assignment :1) poster or print ad 

 2) must be negative and positive
 3) explain detail what is the idea, concept and rational

Empathy basically is about our feeling through the advertisement. What we see, feel and understand. 

 Rational + emotional = empathy. 

So in this task i will show the positive emoticon advertisement and the negative emoticon.


1) Positive Emoticon Poster





Idea :  Save water

Concept : The designer use the image of human at the wall and use the words "think about what you could save when you save the water ". The pipe water shows it passing trough the human body and the water is likely going out from the body. They use the wall to shape the human figure.


Rational : When people see this PSA Poster, they will understand about the advertisement. Save the water is the message from this poster that it tells when people use a lot of water it is likely  we let the water go out from our body without cover it. So this positive feeling will tackle the people to concern about save the water.


2) Negative Emoticon






Idea : No smoking


Concept : The designer use the image of  cigarette and the smoke to show about the advertisement is about smoking. But, the concept in this Poster is specifically for pregnant women. They use the tagline "DO YOU WANT TO SEE YOUR CHILDREN GROW UP" and the picture of children growing in cigarette.


Rational : In this poster,it  is show that the psa advertisement wants to prevent the pregnant women from smoking to save the children.  On the same time it want to prevent form abort. When people see this ad especially women, they will concern and care their health for their baby. The negative feeling in this ad will make they feel fear and try to stop smoking.
